Capital One™ Orange Bowl in Miami

Capital One™ Orange Bowl in Miami

December in Miami is such an interesting time of the year because the month is filled with an incredible array of events launching with Art Basel and ending the year with the Orange Bowl. Each year I’m amazed with the growth of Miami and hosting folks from out of town is the best way to showcase the best of Miami.

The Capital One™ Orange Bowl is no exception.

For this year’s game Capital One™ asked me to kick off the weekend of events with Dan Marino, Flo-Rida, and local influencers! I was excited to join in on the fun because there ain’t no party like a Capital One™party!

The weekend kicked off with a meet + greet event at the Capital One Café™ on Lincoln Road. I met with Dan Marino (my new bestie) and Flo-Rida (my other new bestie) and asked the hard hitting questions like “does my hair look good in this lighting?” Kidding!

It was such an honor meeting Dan Marino because he truly is such a legend!

After the Capital One Café™ event on Lincoln Road, we headed to the Capital One™ Beach Bash.

As part of their mission to give customers access to exclusive events, Capital One™ granted easy access for cardholders at the Capital One Beach Bash on December 28, with front of stage access. The free South Beach concert kicked off the festivities and celebrates the College Football Playoff Semifinal game at the Capital One Orange Bowl.

We hung out at the Capital One Café™ pop-up on the sand and I became obsessed with the Peet’s Coffee cans – seriously guys you must try. So yummy.

At the Capital One™ Beach Bash, we were engulfed by a giant pep rally filled with fans from both schools. Who was I rooting for? Dave Mathews Band, the headliner of the event of course. We danced in the sand and I sincerely felt like College Evelyn for the night!

The next day we joined the Capital One™ Team for the Orange Bowl. We had an incredible time cheering on the teams AND watching my new bestie Flo-Rida on stage. His halftime show was incredible.

I love that Capital One™offers their cardmembers unique experiences for their favorite events. The activation of the Capital One™ Orange Bowl coupled with the fan events leading up to the game was a perfect way to spend a weekend in Miami.

Can’t wait to see who will be playing next year!
