I haven’t written a travel post in a while, but to be honest I’m starting to get the travel bug! So I thought my top five places to visit which are on my list as I plan my upcoming Summer travels. Like everyone in Miami I am consistently desire good food, warm weather and good energy. Home to some beautiful spots, it’s a vacation that many will enjoy whether they live in the US or they’re traveling from beyond. I narrowed down my five places to visit that have Miami vibes because if you’re like me, it’s hard to pull yourself away from the sunshine. 

There are a number of places around the world that might match up to the vibes that Miami gives its residents and anyone that finds themselves here at any point. Here are five places to visit that give off the Miami vibes that many love.

1. Barcelona, Spain

Within the Mediterranean coast, you’ve got a city that’s bursting full of nightlife and a culture similar to that of miami. Not only that but you’ve got wonderful beaches. Barcelona in Miami is a great one for those who want to enjoy beach bars and cocktail bars by the dozen. 

At night, the city becomes a hot spot, filled with plenty of parties going on throughout the streets and along the shorefront. Barcelona is known around the world as being one of the popular places for club spots and most won’t even begin getting started until around 12am.

If you fancy a place that offers the heat, entertainment, and sangria, then Barcelona is a place to visit.

2. La Spezia, Italy

La Spezia in Italy is the second-largest city in the Liguria region after Genoa. It’s a great place for those who are looking for a bit of culture as well as being picturesque as a seaside village.

While it might not have the biggest and best nightlife in comparison to Miami, what it does have is the beautiful landscapes and photos that are worthy of any Miami socialite. Home to one of the Unesco World Heritage Sites, there’s plenty to see and do here.

Cinque Terre for example, is the national park, home to beautiful trails and a variety of flora that will have you mesmerized. There’s also plenty of local wildlife to enjoy including wild boar.

3. Havana, Cuba

Havana in Cuba is becoming one of the best in Caribbean vacation hot spots. The city itself is booming with culture and matches the vibe that Miami offers.

From friendly locals to delicious, traditional food, you’ll love it here. It’s a home away from home if you’re from Miami. 

With beach lounging to enjoy and plenty of shopping opportunities for cigars, there’s plenty of nightlife to take you into the evening. Sip tasty mojitos and enjoy flavorful tapas in colonial-style buildings.

4. Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Brazil is the life and soul of the party. Rio de Janeiro is a fantastic place that offers the laid-back beach culture of Miami, mixed in with stunning landscapes that you could spend forever exploring.

Located on the South Atlantic coast, you’ll love the annual carnival that takes place here if you find yourself traveling during that time.

5. Hilo, Hawaii

Finally, Hilo is a spot that has everything you’d expect from a big city like Miami. It has an abundance of natural scenery and is one of the most beautiful spots in the world to explore. From the Hawaii Tropical Botanic Gardens to the Akaka Falls, it’s utter bliss.
