It’s the most wonderful time of the year and that means it’s time for Ultra Music Festival. Just KIDDING! It’s time for the Miami Open.
Luckily, this year the Miami Open is away from the music fest madness, which is awesome for the local traffic.
This year I’m attending the Miami Open with Lacoste and I’m rocking some of their hottest gear! I love Lacoste, and their piqué dresses are some of my favorite wardrobe staples. The piqué dresses are perfect for Miami because they keep you cool while looking impeccably chic.
I wanted to do an outfit post because I get asked ALL OF THE TIME: what do I wear to the Miami Open?
Well if you ask, you shall receive!
This year, my goal is to look like a tennis ninja and opted for all black. My pop of “color” is a pair of white sneakers. Chic, elegant, and classic tennis!
Here’s my look for 2019 and hope it inspires you!
What to Wear to the Miami Open
The Piqué Dress
I love a good classic and the Lacoste Mini Piqué Polo Dress is the definition of classic. This dress is stretchy, so it defines curves but keeps everything polished. I love the black color, but I also own this dress in pink and yellow. I personally love wearing this dress when playing golf with clients or checking out an art festival. It’s a versatile dress and last for years.
I definitely recommend checking out the Piqué dress or this gorgeous soft cotton Polo Shirt Dress which I really was torn over! I’m coveting the navy in the shirt dress and also obsessing over this Micro Piqué Polo Dress in white.
Nothing screams #beautifultennis louder than a crisp white polo dress.
The “Not Sweater Weather” Sweater
I know it’s Miami, and it’s silly to think to sweaters in March… but I’m always cold. Judge me all you want, but anything below 76 degrees is chilly AF for me.
Plus, walking around the suite with a glass of champagne keeps me chilly too!
So in honor of a good classic this Lacoste Jersey Sweater is light-weight and perfect for the Miami Open. Tie the sweater around your waist or keep it chic by wrapping it around the shoulders.
White Sneakers
Comfort is key at the Miami Open. And this year is no exception as there will be more walking involved throughout the Hard Rock stadium.
A white sneaker is classic tennis gear. No need to mess with a classic white sneaker.
I love these Lacoste Leather Sneakers because they are absolutely perfect for a day in the sun. I love the classic white, but these also come in swoon worthy navy and jet black.
Pair these sneakers with skinny jeans or shorts and any #OOTD will instantly be elevated.
Sun and Time
Don’t forget sunscreen and sunnies! It’s always sunny in Miami and a good pair of sunglasses will keep your eye on the ball and on the players. I’m loving these Lacoste Cateye Sunglasses because they are casual for an outdoor event but their shape is elegant so you can rock with any outfit.
Wearing a classic tennis outfit to the Miami Open is definitely a great option. I would also consider bringing my custom lanyards, which I can use for my phone and passes etc. It’s great for freeing up our hands and allows for better immersion in watching the tournament.
Add a statement watch to finalize your look and you’ll be ready for the open. This year I’m rocking the Men’s Kea Watch. It’s very sleek and I love the gold detail.
My Favorites
I hope this post inspires you to create a fun outfit for the Miami Open. I love tennis and this event is the highlight of my year in Miami. Enjoy the Miami Open and hope you see you there – I’ll be the ninja rocking all black Lacoste 😉
