If you can get past the traffic, crazed football fans and tourists trying to navigate our roads, then you’re in luck, Super Bowl LIV is the most wonderful time in Miami! All kidding aside, the last time the Super Bowl came to Miami was one of my favorite weekends in Miami history. Granted it was 10 yeas ago and I had just moved to Miami. Little Evelyn was a bright eyed and busy tailed little gem experiencing Miami wearing her best set of pearls and Lily Pulitzer bag. Yep. Things have changed.
Needless today, I’m definitely glad it’s back for another edition. If you’re like me – not truly interested in watching the big game and only in it for the events, then you are in luck! I rounded up the hottest events and watch parties to attend.
Here are my picks for you to enjoy!

MAXIM Havana Nights
The first Maxim party I attended, I had to use sorority sister’s fake ID to get in. We looked nothing alike but I was wearing something my father would never approve of and hot pink lipstick. It was one of my favorite memories and I can sincerely say from experience that Maxim knows how to throw a good party.
For the Super Bowl, MAXIM is hosting a “Havana Nights”-themed fête with Columbia Records, taking place at an exclusive, custom-built waterfront venue on Virginia Key with jaw-dropping views of the Miami skyline.
The night will feature appearances from Grammy-winning duo The Chainsmokers, Miami’s own Rick Ross, Lost Kings, and special performances by Mya, Emilia Mernes and Luis Figueroa.
