I love brunch. It is my favorite meal of the week and I #diet all week long just so I can indulge on hearty Sunday brunch. Miami just happens to be the perfect City for brunching because we have world class chefs coupled with beautiful weather. So where can you find my pals and I when the weather is fine and we are in total starvation mode? Well, here is my list of go to outdoor brunch spots to add to your weekend agenda!
There is nothing standard about The Standard, including brunch. My friends and I love this spot primarily because you can catch an early yoga class, do a quick paddle board session, and grab mimosas as a part of your Sunday Funday routine. Seriously, where else can you do all three?! Chef Mark Zeitouni has created a menu that fills your Sunday Funday with healthy options so you can make room for extra mimosas. My go-to menu item is the kale and zucchini pancakes. I was skeptical about this combination, but I went for it and honestly it was love at first bite! It’s a health(ier) pancake.

My friend GabeBabe and had a few recovery sessions at the Federal and we ordered the entire menu because we were famished. I can candidly say that their selection is amazing. You can order bottomless mimosas for $19 which is an amazing deal – just make sure you reserve your Uber ahead of time so you can make it home safely. Their outdoor seating is limited so get there as early as your hangover allows.

Cecconi’s at Soho Beach House
Ah yes, j’adore buffets. I am a fatty and love the “all-you-can-eat” option especially when you are entertaining selective (picky) out of town guests. It is an easy place to bring a group because there is something for everyone and the food is delicious. I love that they have a vast raw bar and that they include your first cocktail in the price. Cecconi’s brunch is my most suggested brunch when anyone asks for brunch spots primarily because of the service. Miami is a hit or miss with service and Cecconi’s never disappoints. The venue is beautiful and are you just a few steps away from the sand.

The News Café Lounge
My friend Jenny and I discovered this brunch on one of her final weekends in Miami – before she left our mighty Miami for Orlando. This place is super cool and has a delicious organic Sunday brunch. The menu has simple ingredients and offers a great selection of morning cocktails. I love their benedict with smoked salmon – the ingredients are so fresh it’s hard to put your fork down!

Cantina La Veinte
This place is super convenient for any Brickellite. Just a walk away to the Icon Residencies is a little piece of Mexico where you can sit by the Miami Bay and enjoy a cafecito. I’m more of a fan of the ambiance and the coffee, but a few of their brunch items are spectacular. I suggest the Guava French Toast with Marzcapone Cheese. Yum! The best part of La Viente is that your furry friend can also join the party.
