After a long day of shopping at the Midtown Shopping Center, I’m usually starving and craving tacos! To satisfy my never ending taco craving, I’ll pop over to Rubio’s Coastal Grill.
It’s exciting when California restaurants make their way down to Miami because they take food pretty seriously. Rubio’s Coastal Grill is no different.
Rubio’s uses responsibly sourced seafood and everything in their kitchen is made fresh to order. The food is healthy and you can customize dishes for veggie and gluten free options. I love that the Midtown location has outdoor seating this way I can enjoy the gorgeous Miami weather.

My recent vice has been their Langostino Lobster Taco.
Let’s break down this taco shall we?!
First, Rubio’s uses responsibly sourced Langoustino Lobster as a base and the lobster is drizzled with basil butter. To round out the taco, the lobster is topped with Hass avocado slices, crisp cabbage, a blend of cilantro/onion, and then the taco drizzled with a chipotle sauce.
If that doesn’t make your mouth water I don’t know what will!
The best part about Rubio’s Coastal Grill is what while everything is made fresh and made from scratch daily, the meals are prepared quickly, this way I can get back to shopping. Big hungry girl has priorities and shopping is ALWAYS one of them… next to tacos.
