5 Fast and Healthy Restaurants in Miami for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Top 5 Healthy Miami Restaurants for Breakfast Lunch and Dinner

Spring is quickly approaching and it’s also the pivotal time of the year when most people start thinking about their bikini body. We are fortunate to have healthy Miami restaurants and cafes popping up all around town offering a wide range of flavors to make sure the foodie cultists stay satiated.

Many of these restaurants are partaking in the farm to table movement and others are offering calorie counts to their dishes. This makes it easier for us to stay on track and feel good about the food we are eating. It’s also a nice balance to the Sangria binges from the weekend!

I’ve been exploring all around Miami attempting to stay away from Nutella croissants and trying to stick to keeping a healthier lifestyle.

Read below for some of my favorite finds for healthy eating across Miami that are quick and easy to pop in for a weekday lunch.

Delicious Raw – Miami Beach, Aventura + Wynwood

I’d like to take a moment and thank the owners of Delicious Raw for opening this spot on Miami Beach. I love this place in Aventura so when I discovered they were a bit closer I did a little happy dance.

Delicious Raw is s a sanctuary for anyone who wants to improve their wellbeing and quality of life through targeted nutritional boosts during the day. They make delicious, highly nutritious fresh fruit and vegetable juices, smoothies and wellness shots as well as delicious food and snack alternatives all day long.

Apple A Day

Proof that healthy isn’t boring, Apple a Day has a Teriyaki Quinoa Bowl that will convince you to stay on track with your resolutions. The dish comes with quinoa, tofu teriyaki, bean sprouts, cabbage and broccoli stir fry topped with fresh scallions and black sesame seeds. For me, the dish serves two meals it’s not only a large quantity but it’s also filling. My favorite smoothie on the menu is the Smoothie #6 which is perfect for anyone looking to kick start a cleanse. It will… how shall I say this – clean you right out. But it’s also delicious so it’s a win win win if you ask me!

Latteria Midtown Miami

I know what you are thinking, WTF is Evelyn doing posting a beautiful photo of gelato on a healthy food post. I know. I’m a bitch. You know what though, we all deserve a treat, and Latteria in Midtown is the perfect place to reward your resolutions with creamy gelato. Make sure you kick off your meal with a delicious and filling Avocado Salad (header photo above) if you’d like to opt in for protein, add tuna. The salad portions are pretty big so you may not have room for gelato, but don’t worry you can always cap your meal with a delicious Nutella macchiatto. There’s always room for Nutella.

Sunset Juice Cafe

Simple organic ingredients are key at Sunset Juice Cafe. Located in the trendy Sunset Harbor neighborhood this spot is not your average juice cafe. They serve hearty yet healthy breakfasts like the poached eggs with spinach & home fries pictured above.  The owners of Sunset Juice Cafe also own Rosinella Italian, so this isn’t their first rodeo! Similar to Rosinella the cafe also bakes their own bread and pastries using all organic ingredients and it’s fresh on the spot.

The dishes are lightly seasoned and the portions and prices are resonable. This is one of my go-to spots on Miami Beach because it’s free of tourists and yuppies, but more importantly it’s healthy and yummy.

Jar + Fork Downtown

With various dining options around downtown  Jar + Fork sticks out as the perfect spot to find healthy eats. Their mission is to provide health conscious comfort food for individuals with a “fast life” that want to adopt a healthy lifestyle. That sounds like me – target demographic secured! Jar + Fork has a variety of meal options like Paleo dishes, juices, and hearty salads. They also change their menu and soup options daily so there is always something new to choose from.

My favorite is the Turkey Chili with quinoa salad. The chili has the perfect kick and it’s so filling it will last me through the rest of the work day – without feeling heavy after. It’s very Healthy Miami
