Exploring Miami is one of my favorite things to do on the weekend. There are so many beautiful neighborhoods and restaurants to try, that staying home when the sun is shining feels plain-ol-wrong.
There is nothing like a hot set of wheels in Miami, and this month I partnered with Southeast Toyota Distributors, so I could explore more of my favorite city!
Toyota graciously provided the cutest red 2018 Toyota Corolla complete with navigation and a sunroof. Woot!
If this Corolla were an emoji it would be the Red Emoji Girl!

Touring Miami’s Coconut Grove
I hadn’t been to Coconut Grove in what felt like YEARS, so I took my new wheels out for a spin to explore this beloved neighborhood.
One of my favorite brunch spots is Green Street Cafe and to be honest it’s a neighborhood favorite as well! It’s always packed. Because of this I decided to mosey over to the Mayfair Hotel to grab a quiet brunch so I could get a work done before my day of explorations.
Next I cruised the gorgeous neighborhoods! Truth is I got lost… Coconut Grove does not operate on the grid system! Thank goodness my Corolla had navigation because it saved me from having to setup my phone’s navigation.
Their navigation is not the only safety feature.
Anthony, from Southeast Toyota Distributors in Miami, helped me setup my phone before I left the dealership. He showed me how to use all of the features including their voice command.
Think of it like a Siri for your car…. I named her Tanya. You don’t have to name your voice command, but I felt rude without a proper introduction. Haha.
I’m a dork, but I digress.
I linked my Spotify and played some of my favorite tunes while I was driving around. And I was also able to take a few business calls without the street noise interruption.
Best part my address book automatically synced so I could see who was calling and easily decline their call. Sorry BAE… I was jamming out to Britney Spears when you called.
The best part about Coconut Grove on a weekday is that there is ample street parking. So I was able to park in front of boutiques do a little shopping (ok a lot!) without having to walk too far with my packages.
But with street parking comes parallel parking. Yeesh. If you hate this as much as I do, say “I!”
Luckily the Corolla comes standard with parking assistance.
Much needed!
I had so much fun cruising around town in the 2018 Toyota Corolla. The car was not only sporty, but also super comfortable. It was a stylish way to explore Coconut Grove and I am so grateful to the group at Southeast Toyota Distributors for loaning me a sexy whip!
Loved hanging out with Tanya and already miss her!

Special thanks to Southeast Toyota Distributors for sponsoring this post.
Toyota provided me with the use of a Corolla for a short period of time.
The opinions I have shared about this vehicle are my own.
